We have new shoes for fall arriving every few days, and we’re loving the overall trends this season – lots of tough girl/motorcycle influences seen in hardware and zippers, neutral colors (think taupe, pale gray, blush pink, camel), great booties (ankle length and a few inches above) and there are chunky platform soles everywhere.
Designers have also seemed to realize that not every woman likes a towering high heel to walk around in all day. To that end, there’s a whole slew of styles with low heels done in a very chic way, that manage to partner glamour along with a bit more comfort. Heels at every height are chunky this fall, and while the rounded toe is still the most popular shape, pointy toes may be making a comeback in the flats category.
In the coming weeks, we’ll be sure to share our Must-Haves for fall that, um, FALL into the trend categories we’ve outlined here. We’ll leave you with a taste of two trends in one – motorcycle booties with a peep-toe in a great metallic shade that goes with absolutely everything! We love this style, called “Las Vegas,” from Apepazza ($189).
