“There are so many cute shoes in the world; why aren’t there more cute shoe stores?”
This was an ever-present thought for frequent traveler – and shoe lover -- Amy Puchowicz, a stock options trader turned commercial real estate manager during her business trips across the country.
In 2007, she decided to be the change she sought and opened Amy’s Shoes in the quaint Old River shopping district in Rocky River, OH. With its sleek minimalist interior and well-curated assortment, the upscale shoe boutique made an immediate buzz in the region.
From the beginning, Amy sought to provide her customers with all their stylish footwear needs, from casual to corporate to cocktails. She chooses from a revolving stable of brands which includes All Black, Betsey Johnson, Farylrobin, Beverly Feldman, Manas, Pink Studio and more.
Amy and her loyal pug, Vader – the official mascot of Amy’s Shoes – opened a second location at Eton: Chagrin Boulevard in Woodmere, OH in 2009. The stores continue to win kudos for their levels of customer service, terrific selection and overall good shoe karma.
